NEF was initially looking for a marketing partner to generate additional high capacity fiber customer leads through search engine marketing and optimization. Since first engaging with Access Marketing, however, that goal has expanded to include branding and brand awareness, product line expansion to include data center brokerage and fiber mapping tools, promoting its expertise and thought leadership in the dark fiber industry, as well as marketing asset and content development to support sales.

WHAT NEF NEEDED

NEF found Access Marketing when their leadership team decided to see if paid advertising might be a viable approach to lead generation. They soon found themselves in need of more than just PPC support – much more. PPC efforts uncovered needs in a variety of other areas, including marketing strategy, content development and visual branding. The partnership that unfolded has spanned over a decade and is still strong and growing today.

 

THE PROCESS

NEF may have been looking for PPC specialists, but they ended up gaining a virtual marketing department. AMC went well beyond advertising setup and management to build NEF’s content library, refine their brand and spearhead initiatives like event marketing and marketing automation. After initially engaging AMC as a small, two-person firm, NEF has grown to include a variety of business units spanning telecom consulting all the way to capital advisory and even the launch of a cutting-edge telecom research tool, FiberLocator.
