You understand how to write with a purpose and match the voice and tone of each client’s unique brand or solution - all while telling a story that is interesting and captures the right audience’s attention. While you love telling the story, you can synthesize it into the appropriate context and check everything for errors ... because who allows typos to go to a client, right?

What You Will Do
- Conceive, write, and deliver compelling content for marketing campaigns for a wide variety of client types/industries.
- Clearly understand audience, purpose, funnel stage, and calls to action in the writing process to strongly empathize with audience motivation and write effective copy.
- Suggest topics and stories and assist in the management of client editorial calendars.
- Brainstorm on compelling campaign themes/messaging, spanning segmentation, prospecting, email, and campaigns.
- Create A/B title/copy testing options and assist AMs with analysis and refinements.
- Work with the design team to align visual creatives with the purpose and message of all content.
- Conduct calls with clients and account team to uncover goals and gain a deeper awareness of the audiences and their specific pain points and motivations.
- Suggest and produce long-form content assets that support client goals for nurturing and engagement strategies.

What You Bring
- Strong communicator with superlative writing and editing skills.
- Versatile creator, comfortable writing long and short form pieces, including informative yet creative product specifications, engaging blogs, thought-provoking eBooks, and clickable ads.
- Experienced professional, preferably in a technical industry B2B marketing setting.
- Analytical thinker with a problem-solving attitude.
- Organized, efficient and meticulous team player, able to multi-task and balance several projects/deadlines/priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in a variety of digital and traditional content marketing channels.
- Skilled in the ways of the tools of the trade, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, digital media platforms, social, SEM, CMS, marketing automation, SEO, keyword research tools and content management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, marketing, or mass communications.
Full-time. This is not an entry-level role.
