Our design team is looking for its newest member to work on a variety of creative and production projects ranging from web & map design all the way to video editing and production.   • The Work

    We are a B2B agency with a strong focus in technology and telecom. While working at Access you'll have the chance to contribute on projects that range from local, hyper-focused deliverables to global campaigns. Our team focuses on function first and ensures everything we create serves our clients' goals effectively. We don't make things "pretty" - we implement large-scale design systems and marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the story our clients are telling.

We are a "pull" organization - meaning micro-managing is not in our vocabulary. Instead, we ask all our employees to take ownership of their projects and pull in resources when they need help - as well as pull in the account team when designs are ready to go.

The "Deets"

As a Graphic Designer at Access Marketing, we ask you to tell and enhance marketing stories through visual design across various mediums including print, PDF documents, presentations, web pages, landing pages, emails, ads, social posts, etc., and know why each medium is different. You'll create assets from supplied copy using client brand guides or reference material, taking into account the medium and campaign use cases. All along the way, you'll need to collaborate with copywriters and account managers to execute production work with quality at volume. In addition, all our design team members are expected to contribute to the development of tools like templates, automated processes, design libraries, etc. to reduce effort per output.

  • Requirements
    • Design proficiency across multiple mediums to capture and deliver the intended vision
    • Ability to contribute and/or create blank-page designs based on input gathered from brainstorming sessions & meetings
    • Highly developed knowledge and skill with tools in the Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign plus layout, file structure, art boards and layer management
    • Demonstrable understanding of how typography, color, shape and layout contribute to elegant design and communication
    • "How can I be helpful?" team-first attitude.
    • Tendency to double-check results because you are somewhat risk-averse
    • Desire to take on new methods and platforms, learning the design & layout side of applications such as Act-On, Hubspot, Pardot and more
    • Detail-oriented, ensuring typography and design treatments are aligned across a large variety of deliverables and templates

  • Nice to Haves
    • B2B marketing/design experience
    • Experience with marketing automation (e.g. Act-On, Marketo, Eloqua)
    • Comfort using project management tools (e.g. Teamwork, Trello, RoboHead)
    • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint cloud file storage
    • Building HTML emails
    • Video Production (planning, direction, capture, production/editing, animation, etc.)
    • Technical chops is a bonus e.g. light HTML, CSS, WYSIWYG editors in web, email, etc.
    • Bootstrap / knowledge of Marketing platforms such as Act-On, Hubspot, Pardot etc.
    • Additional Adobe product proficiency (e.g. AfterEffects, Premiere, Audition, Animate, Muse)
  • Education & Experience
    • Minimum 5 years in graphic design in marketing/agency preferred
    • 1 year experience with B2B design and/or digital design such as email, marketing platforms
    • 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design or similar field preferred, although your work and commitment to learning is most important
